Day by Day Itinerary

  • Day1 Guilin

    Activities for today: Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave, Lakes in the city center

    Welcome to Guilin! Please meet your local guide in the hotel lobby between 08:30 - 09:00 am.

    Your first stop today is the Reed Flute Cave, which is known as "the Palace of Natural Arts". It is a natural limestone cave with multicolored lighting and has been one of Guilin's most interesting attractions for more thant 1200 years.

    Next, drive back to the city area, and visit the the lake area in the city center, where you’ll walk around the beautiful lakes. As you walk, your guide will share stories and anecdotes, and answer any questions you have about local life in the city.

    Afterwards, move on to visit Elephant Trunk Hill. The hill is the symbol of Guilin and it looks like a giant elephant drinking water from Li River.

    Towards the end of the day you will arrive at the pier near Liberation Bridge, where you can pause for a break or take some photos of the bridge and the Li River. From April to October, you may see many anglers sitting on the bank of the river enjoy their fishing time.

  • Day2 Guilin/Yangshuo/Guilin

    Transfer via: private vehicle, ship

    Activities for today: Li River Cruise, West Street

    Pick up at the hotel this morning. Today you'll be heading out to Zhujiang Pier for the Li River Cruise to Yangshuo. You will enjoy a relaxing 3.5-4 hours cruise going down a clear river sided by picturesque scenery. Lunch will be the simple Chinese buffet on the aboard. Make sure you bring your camera, as there will be plenty of great photo opportunities!

    Upon arrival at Yangshuo town, have a leisure walk on the West Street. In the late afternoon, drive back to your hotel in Guilin, where your short break tour comes to an end.

Private Transfers:
Between airports / railway station, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in the cities specified in the itinerary by the private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.
Entrance fees:
All entrance fees to scenic spots as listed above in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of LocalChengduTours. ZTG will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
Meals:
All meals as specified in the itinerary. “B” stands for western breakfast “L” for Chinese Lunch in local Chinese restaurant. “D” for Chinese dinner in local Chinese restaurant. The quotation is basic on the above normal meals. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, or Indian food etc, please inform us in advance.
Private tour escort for Sightseeing:
Normal sightseeing activities as outlined in the Itinerary will be escorted with English-speaking guide.
The English-speaking guide and driver of each city accompany you throughout the entire tour in that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.
Accommodation (if include Yangtze Cruiser):
Service based on two adults sharing on one standard twin/double-bed room (cabin); solo travelers or those who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room/cabin of their own are required to pay additional charge of single supplement rate. A single room (cabin) is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar class one.
All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

All the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax/ or train ticket(s) as specified in the itinerary.
